The EliteMail® Universal Voice Mail Platform (VMP) in-skin
interface card for the Electra Elite® IPK offers a wide
selection of media options, resulting in improved selling advantages,
lower dealer costs, reduced pricing and increased customer migration
opportunities. Over 48,000 customers have benefited from in-skin
digital integration since NEC America, Inc. (NEC) introduced
its first in-skin voice processing circuit board in 1997. As
the voice mail market matured, NEC continued to keep pace with
additional features, ports, and storage hour options.
The
VMP media options are two, four, or eight ports. Available storage
options are between four and twenty-five hours. We now offer
options at every port size for up to twenty-five hours of storage.
Upon
release, the two and four- port configurations will support
40 subscribers and the eight-port systems will support 200 subscribers.
It is our intention to offer 200 mailboxes for all configurations
and support for a built-in modem.*
Customer
voice mail requirements may change over time, and the VMP platform
offers a migration path with maximum investment protection.
By replacing the media with a larger port size and/or number
of storage hours, customers grow at their own pace. As additional
features and media options become available, existing customers
will have many upgrade options.
The
EliteMail VMP digital voice mail provides popular features such
as Automated Attendant (AA), Audiotext, Caller ID Call Return,
Fax Detection, Message Notification, Live Monitor, Live Record,
Centrex Transfer and Optional Multilingual Prompts.
